ASUS Unveils RTX 5080 Noctua Edition Featuring Triple-Fan Cooling and Exclusive ROG Astral RTX 5080 DOOM Edition Limited to 666 Units

ASUS has unveiled two innovative custom RTX 50 graphics cards: the RTX 5080 Noctua Edition and the ROG Astral RTX 5080 DOOM Edition. These new additions are set to impress gamers and tech enthusiasts alike.

Introducing the RTX 5080 Noctua Edition: A Triple-Fan Cooling Marvel

ASUS continues its collaboration with Noctua by launching the RTX 5080 Noctua Edition, now featuring a sophisticated triple-fan cooling system, a significant upgrade from previous dual-fan models. This exciting development enhances thermal performance, crucial for demanding gaming sessions and heavy workloads.

The graphics card is equipped with three Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 120mm fans, engineered for silent operation while delivering optimal cooling efficiency. An advanced vapor chamber and a robust aluminum fin array enhance heat dissipation, coupled with phase-change GPU thermal pads to further improve thermal management. To support its sizable design, the card incorporates a GPU guard and bracket, reducing the risk of mounting issues.

The aesthetic of the Noctua Edition features a distinctive gray and brown color scheme, synonymous with Noctua’s branding. Additionally, the card boasts a full-length backplate with a strategic cut-out designed to enhance airflow for the third fan.

ROG Astral RTX 5080 DOOM Edition: A Gamer’s Delight

In a nod to the gaming community, ASUS has also introduced the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition, inspired by the recently launched DOOM: The Dark Ages. This variant showcases design elements reflecting the game’s iconic weaponry, particularly the shield saw, with matching front and rear fans.

While pricing details for both graphics cards remain undisclosed, given their exclusive nature, they are expected to carry a premium over the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $999 for the RTX 5080 model. Pre-orders for the RTX 5080 DOOM Edition commence today, with shipping anticipated in July. Additionally, customers will receive DOOM-themed accessories and the option to purchase a game code for DOOM: The Dark Ages.
