In a significant announcement, ASUS introduced a trio of innovative ROG OLED gaming monitors. This lineup includes two models that utilize the cutting-edge Tandem TrueBlack WOLED technology and one model featuring a standard WOLED design.

Beginning with the Tandem TrueBlack WOLED models, ASUS presents the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG. Both monitors boast a 27-inch display and are engineered with Tandem WOLED technology, which incorporates a dual-layer system that enhances brightness, expands color gamut, and increases durability compared to traditional OLED options. Furthermore, these panels consume less power while the glossy TrueBlack coating effectively reduces glare in brightly lit environments.

The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W is particularly noteworthy, as it supports dual-mode capabilities with impressive refresh rates of up to 540Hz at 2K resolution and 720Hz at 720p. Additionally, it features DisplayPort 2.1a “UHBR20, ”delivering bandwidth of up to 80 Gbps.

Both models are equipped with ASUS’s proprietary OLED Care Pro features, including a state-of-the-art Neo Proximity Sensor that dims the screen automatically when the user steps away.

Additionally, ASUS is rolling out a standard WOLED monitor, the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2. This model features a 27-inch QHD WOLED panel with a TrueBlack Glossy coating, capable of a refresh rate of up to 240Hz and a remarkable response time of just 0.03ms. Similar to the other models, it offers 99% DCI-P3 gamut coverage along with true 10-bit color support and incorporates OLED Care Pro technology.
