Astra Malorum Observatory Guide & Machina Astralis Code Solutions for Black Ops 7 Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has introduced its second significant map, highlighting the most extensive launch of Season 1 in the franchise. Players can now explore Astra Malorum, a celestial observatory where a diverse cast of characters endeavors to recover the souls of Nikolai and Dr. Elizabeth Grey. Gamers can either embark on the main quest or immerse themselves in the action of fending off relentless zombie hordes.

For those navigating the intricate challenges of Astra Malorum’s Main Quest, several tasks must be accomplished before confronting the demanding boss battle. Certain objectives, such as activating the Pack-a-Punch machine, are straightforward, while others pose greater difficulties. If you’re struggling with specific puzzles, this guide presents the solutions to both the Observatory and Machina Astralis codes.

Solving the Observatory Dome Code in Astra Malorum

Observatory Dome Code Solution

The first step in this Easter Egg quest can be accomplished after activating the Pack-a-Punch and acquiring the LGM 1 Wonder Weapon. To successfully complete this task, you must follow O. S.C. A.R.without alarming him. It’s advisable to wait until only a few zombies remain to facilitate this process.

Be sure to enable subtitles, as you need to listen for the phrase “Targeting Doctor Thurston” and note the subsequent information. O.S. C.A. R.will produce a recording wherein Dr. Thurston names three planets, each representing a digit in a three-number code.

By arranging the planets of our solar system from closest to the farthest from the sun, you can unveil the code:

  • Mercury: 1
  • Venus: 2
  • Earth: 3
  • Mars: 4
  • Jupiter: 5
  • Saturn: 6
  • Uranus: 7
  • Neptune: 8

For instance, if the recorded sequence includes Neptune, Saturn, and Mercury, your code would be 861. After obtaining the code, return to the Observatory Dome and input it into the machine located in the Pack-a-Punch room. This action will cause a platform to descend, allowing players to retrieve the Cryo Chamber Key.

Subsequently, while you may progress to the Doctor Thurston Brain Step, there is another task within the Observatory Dome you can address.

Decoding the Machina Astralis in Astra Malorum

Machina Astralis Code Solution

The Machina Astralis Code is a separate challenge, but since you’ll already be in the Observatory Dome, you can decipher the necessary code at this time. Begin by using the telescope in the Observatory Dome to focus on the planet Mars.

Find Thurston's Brain

Afterward, head to The Museum Infinitum to collect a Rock Saw from its southwestern corner. With the saw in hand, proceed to the Machina Astralis and enter the room before reaching Speed Cola. There, interact with the Cryo Pod to unlock it, and then engage with the corpse to obtain Thurston’s Brain.

Activate the Perfusion Machine

Next, make your way to The Lumanarium and locate the Perfusion Machine, which will already contain a brain on its eastern side.Interact with the machine to exchange the brain, and then trigger it again to start the Perfusion process.

At this juncture, you will need to defend the Perfusion Machine against incoming zombie waves. Ensure you are equipped with a robust weapon to fend off any zombies attempting to breach the machine. Successfully safeguarding the machine for the duration of the lockdown will complete this phase. After defending it, interact with the Perfusion Machine one last time to retrieve the brain. Keep in mind that carrying the brain will restrict your sprinting abilities.

Code Terminal

Now, proceed back to Machina Astralis and descend the stairs. Interact with the terminal machine to insert the brain, and then press interact a second time to link it to the Perfusion Machine. This action will activate a code terminal.

Puzzle Solution

Now, you are ready to advance to the next step, which involves observing the books displayed on the terminal machine in order to solve a puzzle at the Archive of Orbis. For a comprehensive guide on how to complete the remaining steps of the Astra Malorum Main Quest, refer to the link provided.
