Assassin’s Creed Shadows Surpasses Five Million Players

Ubisoft has achieved an impressive milestone, marking over five million players in Assassin’s Creed Shadows in less than four months after its launch. To build on this success, the company is gearing up to introduce a series of exciting new features as part of its summer updates, alongside the announcement of a release date for the highly anticipated Claws of Awaji story expansion.

Upcoming Features and New Game+ Details

The first major update to look forward to is New Game+, set to roll out on July 29. This feature, which has been highly requested by fans, allows players to opt-in immediately after completing the game. Players can reset their story and objective progress while retaining levels, gear, skill points, and other important progression elements in their new save file.

Ubisoft elaborates on the New Game+ experience: “Players can choose to start from the beginning, revisiting the pivotal events of the Tensho War in Iga, or they can opt to skip ahead after the prologue directly to the moment when Naoe takes ownership of the Hideout.”Importantly, Ubisoft assures that none of the introductory tutorials will interrupt players during their second playthrough.

Other Features and Level Cap Increase

Another significant enhancement is the increase of the level cap from 60 to 80. This update will introduce new Knowledge Ranks, enhanced Mastery and Knowledge Skill ranks, and upgrades for all Hideout buildings, providing players with more opportunities for growth and exploration.
