The Seasonal Cycle and Its Effect on Gameplay

The progression of seasons in Assassin’s Creed Shadows follows the actual passage of time. Each season has a designated duration: Spring, Summer, and Autumn each last 140 minutes, while Winter spans 180 minutes. Players cannot hasten these transitions; however, they can influence seasonal changes through certain actions, including preventing automatic transitions or manually initiating a change when the designated time elapses.

In contrast, Autumn brings unpredictable weather changes, allowing players to leverage heavy rain at night to stealthily infiltrate enemy strongholds.
