Dark Horse Comics has partnered with Ubisoft to enrich the vast universe of Assassin’s Creed through an exhilarating new comic miniseries titled Assassin’s Creed Mirage: A Soar of Eagles. Crafted by writer Michael Avon Oeming, artist Mirko Colak, colorist Lauren Affe, and letterer Jimmy Bettancourt, this series will spotlight young Fulad in an intriguing narrative that precedes the events of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Fans can expect the three-issue series to hit comic shops starting March 12, 2025, with captivating covers by Julie Dillon, known for her work on Stranger Things: Kamchatka.

Initially slated for a summer 2024 debut, A Soar of Eagles is the first comic set within the narrative tapestry of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, though it has been rescheduled to arrive in spring 2025. According to the synopsis:

“Years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a young Fuladh must return to his homeland to investigate political unrest that could point to a secret Order of the Ancients stronghold. But in order to discover what’s behind the chaos and violence in Adulis, Fuladh and Roshan will have to confront a more immediate danger.”
