Exciting New Chapter in Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory
Last month, Ubisoft made an exciting announcement: the development team is re-engaging with Assassin’s Creed Mirage to introduce a thrilling new chapter in the game’s narrative. Titled Valley of Memory, this free expansion will transport players and the protagonist, Basim Ibn Ishaq, from the familiar environment of Baghdad to the stunning landscapes of 9th-century AlUla.
What to Expect from the Valley of Memory Update
In this highly anticipated update, Ubisoft has confirmed that players can look forward to new main quests, side quests, contracts, and various activities, offering approximately six hours of additional gameplay. This content is set to occur just before the climax of the base game, enriching the overall experience of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
“Valley of Memory kicks off when Basim learns that his long-lost father might still be alive in AlUla, ”says Ubisoft, describing the new setting and story.“Basim decides to go on a journey to see if the rumors hold any truth, only to discover that the valley of AlUla is threatened by a dangerous band of robbers and his father is missing.”
Enhanced Gameplay Features
In addition to the enriching storyline, the Valley of Memory update introduces a suite of new features designed to enhance gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Notably, players will find that all Black Box missions and contracts become fully replayable after completion. New gameplay options include disabling eagle missions, making precise kills, or attempting full stealth runs.
Parkour mechanics are also undergoing significant improvements, allowing players to display greater creativity during movement. This includes new functionalities for manually jumping and enhanced free ejects while climbing.
“A new control scheme is also being introduced to smoothen the experience of leaping from rooftop to rooftop, ”added Ubisoft.“Players will also be able to customize side and back ejects. Previously, side and back ejects could only be performed when Basim had a clear landing spot or handhold. Now, Basim can side or back eject regardless of the landing spot.”
Additional Updates and Release Information
Furthermore, the update will introduce new skill and tool customizations, as well as two additional difficulty levels, thus catering to a wider range of player preferences and skill levels.
The Valley of Memory update for Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled for release on November 18, available to all game owners across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and cloud platforms.
