ASRock has unveiled its new Pro series of power supply units (PSUs), designed to deliver exceptional reliability for contemporary PC builds, especially for enthusiasts utilizing high-performance RTX 50 series graphics cards.
ASRock Introduces Pro Series PSUs: 750W, 850W, and 1000W Models with PCIe 5.1 and ATX 3.1 Compliance
Renowned hardware manufacturer ASRock has launched its latest Pro series power supply units, featuring a modular design and available in capacities of 750W, 850W, and 1000W. These PSUs incorporate state-of-the-art features to enhance reliability while supporting the newest generations of hardware, promising an optimized performance.
The Pro series includes models tailored to meet the needs of gamers looking to build mid-range to high-end systems. The 750W and 850W units are well-suited for systems equipped with GPUs such as the RTX 5070 and RTX 5080, respectively. Meanwhile, the flagship 1000W PSU is specifically designed for power-hungry top-tier graphics cards like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. Each unit is equipped with a dual-color connector that ensures proper alignment during installation, significantly reducing the risk of connector failures.

While the cable design resembles the L-Type ASRock 12V-2×6 connector, it does not include a built-in NTC sensor for graphics card protection. Nonetheless, the Pro series PSUs adhere to ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, ensuring reliable operation with GPUs that utilize 12V-2×6 connectors. These power supplies are fully modular, allowing users to connect only the necessary cables, facilitating a neater installation. Additionally, the flexible and flat cables included with the PSUs simplify routing and cable management.

All Pro series PSUs are rated with an 80 Plus Gold certification, achieving over 90% energy efficiency under typical load scenarios. They are also Cybenetics Gold-certified, underscoring their efficiency and energy-saving capabilities. ASRock has emphasized that these power supplies incorporate “premium”Japanese main capacitors, thereby enhancing both durability and stability for long-term use. Furthermore, a feature known as 5V BOOST ensures voltage stability across various operational conditions.
In terms of warranty, each power supply unit is backed by a robust 10-year guarantee, although pricing information has yet to be disclosed by ASRock.
