ARC Raiders Launches with High-Performance NVIDIA DLSS 4 Support

Today marks the highly anticipated release of ARC Raiders for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles. A standout feature for PC gamers is the incorporation of NVIDIA DLSS 4, which includes Multi-Frame Generation and NVIDIA Reflex technology. This integration is particularly advantageous for users equipped with an RTX 50 Series graphics card, as it can significantly enhance gaming performance, achieving an impressive average frame rate increase of 3.6 times, even at a stunning 4K resolution.

According to a statement from NVIDIA, gamers using an RTX 50 Series card can experience performance multipliers, reaching up to 3.6 times the usual frame rates at 4K resolution. This is possible when players utilize both DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation in conjunction with DLSS Super Resolution, all while maxing out game settings and enabling ray tracing.

Performance Insights

For those with an RTX 5090, the results are staggering: at max settings in 4K resolution, players can achieve up to 420 FPS. The RTX 5080 also performs impressively, delivering over 300 FPS. Meanwhile, the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 maintain respectable frame rates of 260 FPS and 220 FPS, respectively.

Lowering the resolution to 1440p or 1080p yields even greater performance gains. For instance, at 1440p with all settings set to maximum and utilizing DLSS technologies, the RTX 5090 can push beyond 500 FPS. Even the mid-tier RTX 5060 achieves over 190 FPS at 1440p, while offering around 245 FPS at 1080p.

Laptop gamers aren’t left out of the action either; those with an RTX 5060 can see frame rates reaching 240 FPS at 1080p. For laptops equipped with the RTX 5090, the performance soars to approximately 423 FPS at the same resolution, surpassing 300 FPS at 1440p, demonstrating the power of mobile technology in modern gaming.

Expanding Game Support

In addition to ARC Raiders, several other titles are embracing NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation. This includes new modes in Battlefield 6, Battlefield REDSEC battle royale mode, as well as Duet Night Abyss and Directive 8020. Furthermore, the upcoming title AION 2 is expected to launch in 2026 featuring support for these advanced technologies.
