Apple has unveiled its newest offering, AppleCare One, a subscription-based protection plan aimed at simplifying device coverage for users. This innovative plan allows customers to consolidate their AppleCare+ coverage for multiple devices into a single, affordable monthly subscription, starting at just $19.99. Users can protect up to three devices, and the option to add additional devices is available for an extra $5.99 each per month.
Simplified Protection for All Your Apple Devices
AppleCare One boasts a comprehensive coverage package that encompasses all the essentials of AppleCare+, including:
- Unlimited accidental damage repairs
- 24/7 priority support from Apple experts
- Battery replacements once battery health declines below 80%
One of the standout features of AppleCare One is its expanded Theft and Loss coverage, which now extends beyond iPhones to include iPads and Apple Watches. This added flexibility ensures that users can confidently carry their devices with them, knowing they are well-protected against theft and loss.
Unlike the previous AppleCare+ plans, which restricted enrollment to 60 days post-purchase, AppleCare One offers a notable twist—devices up to four years old can be registered, provided they are linked to the user’s Apple ID and pass a diagnostic assessment. Users have the convenience to easily add or remove devices from the plan as their needs evolve. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for those who frequently upgrade or trade in devices, as the plan seamlessly transfers to the replacement device without any additional hassle.
Scheduled to launch in the United States on July 24, 2025, AppleCare One can be activated through an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and customers also have the option to enroll in person at their nearest Apple Store. This move towards an all-in-one subscription for device protection not only simplifies management for users but also presents substantial savings compared to maintaining separate plans for each device. As more information becomes available, we will provide updates on AppleCare One, so stay tuned for further details.
