These could include a switch to a plastic chassis, a less powerful A-series chip instead of the M-series, and more. Notably, there has been speculation about the name “Apple Vision Air” for this new model.

Recent information from a tipster on X, @Kosutami_Ito, suggests an intriguing development: rather than utilizing plastic components to reduce the weight, the Apple Vision Air may feature titanium in select areas. While most of the body will likely remain aluminum, certain internal sections could benefit from this stronger, lighter material. Furthermore, the headset might undergo a redesign of its connectors and battery, featuring a unique color described as a ‘graphite dark blue’ reminiscent of the black iPhone 5.
