Apple Music Unveils “DJ with Apple Music”Feature

Apple Music has launched an exciting new feature called “DJ with Apple Music”, enabling subscribers to mix and match tracks directly from its expansive library of over 100 million songs using various eligible DJ hardware and software. This innovative addition empowers DJs to craft and perform live sets seamlessly.

Integration with Leading DJ Software and Hardware

This feature integrates smoothly with a range of established DJ platforms, including AlphaTheta, Serato, InMusic’s Engine DJ, Denon DJ, Numark, and Rane DJ. Apple Music is also continuing its collaboration with Algoriddim’s Djay Pro software, enhancing accessibility for DJs at all levels.

Catering to DJs of All Skill Levels

According to Apple Music, “DJ with Apple Music”is tailored to support DJs of all backgrounds by offering easy access to the extensive music library for set preparation, practice, and live performances. To enhance user experience, Apple Music has created a dedicated category page featuring DJ-specific content, including curated playlists ideal for mixing, reference points for practice, and new curator pages tailored to each supported platform.

Leading DJ hardware and software companies have responded positively to this integration. Representatives from AlphaTheta, Serato, and InMusic highlighted how this collaboration enhances accessibility and sparks creativity, providing DJs with direct access to Apple Music’s diverse catalog.
