This follows the recent discovery of another model, J873s, hinting at a refreshed iteration of the machine. For context, the current M4-powered Mac mini is designated J773g, while the M4 Pro variant carries the identifier J773s.

The evidence points towards the inevitable release of a new Mac mini with M5 and M5 Pro options. However, we do not expect any remarkable enhancements beyond a minor boost in performance due to the updated chipset. Nonetheless, one advantage that continues to distinguish the Mac mini is its exceptional ‘price to performance’ ratio.
