Apple has officially rolled out visionOS 26 and tvOS 26 for all compatible devices, marking a significant update just a week after delivering release candidate builds to developers. Users can now download these updates for free on their Vision Pro headsets and Apple TV models.

To update your Vision Pro headset to visionOS 26, simply head to the Settings app, select General, and navigate to Software Update. Note that the Vision Pro headset must be removed for the installation process, and users can monitor progress through the front EyeSight display.
This update introduces an array of innovative features, including a new class of widgets seamlessly integrated into your environment. Additionally, the enhanced Personas showcase more realistic hair movement. The update also revamps Sparial Scenes, enhancing the depth perception of 2D images and providing various enhancements to Safari.

The update also introduces profile visibility as the Apple TV wakes from sleep, streamlining the process for users to access their personalized settings and recommendations. Notably, iPhones can now double as microphones during Apple Music Sing sessions, complete with features for Lyrics Translation and pronunciation support.
