This new model is equipped with Apple’s first in-house C1 modem and introduces the versatile Action Button, significantly elevating the user experience.

Featuring a stunning 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, the iPhone 16e inherits the notch design from previous models, namely the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13. The notch houses the advanced TrueDepth camera system essential for Face ID functionality. With the powerful A18 processor, this device not only enhances performance but also supports Apple Intelligence, boasting substantial improvements compared to the iPhone 11 and earlier iPhone SE variations.

The iPhone 16e pioneers the integration of Apple’s custom C1 modem, which Apple promotes as the most power-efficient modem ever used in an iPhone. This innovative component contributes to impressive battery longevity, providing up to six additional hours of usage compared to the iPhone 11 and 12 hours more than the previous iPhone SE models. The iPhone 16e will be offered in classic black and white colors, with three different storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The starting price for the 128GB model is set at $599. Preorders are set to begin on Friday, February 21, across 59 countries, with shipping anticipated for February 28.
