Apple Executives Confirm Authenticity of Personalized Siri Demo, Highlighting Feature’s ‘Real’ Functionality While Addressing Delays Due to Reliability Issues, According to Federighi and Joswiak

“We were filming real working software, with a real large language model, with real semantic search, that’s what you saw, ”explained Federighi.

“There’s this narrative out there that it was demoware only, ”added Joswiak.“No.”

Initially showcased during WWDC, the Personalized Siri feature was among the most anticipated advancements intended to enhance Apple Intelligence. However, subsequent considerations led the company to postpone its release, pushing it to next year after multiple delays.
