The 25G4SXU features a 25-inch Fast IPS panel, which boasts an impressive 1ms GtG response time and a 0.3ms MPRT. This quick response time positions it as an excellent choice for competitive gamers who demand rapid reaction times in fast-paced titles. Meanwhile, the CU34G4Z, with its expansive 34-inch display, also delivers 1ms GtG response but utilizes a Fast VA panel, catering to those who enjoy immersive gameplay experiences.

The key distinction between these models lies not only in their size but also in their display configurations. The 25G4SXU offers a flat 16:9 display with a resolution of 1920x1080p, perfect for those who prefer traditional monitor setups. In contrast, the CU34G4Z features a curved ultra-wide screen with a 1500R radius and a higher resolution of WQHD (3440x1440p), providing an enveloping view that enhances gameplay immersion.

The CU34G4Z, despite its enhanced resolution, can achieve a commendable refresh rate of 240Hz. However, the 25G4SXU goes the extra mile, offering an impressive 300Hz refresh rate out of the box, which can be overclocked to 310Hz for even smoother gameplay. Notably, the 25G4SXU supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, ensuring a tear-free experience, whereas the CU34G4Z does not include adaptive sync features.
Both monitors are ideal for competitive gaming, particularly for popular esports titles such as CS2 and Valorant, as well as for visually rich AAA games that benefit from immersive displays. Connectivity options are robust, with the CU34G4Z providing two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and the 25G4SXU featuring four USB ports, alongside DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 inputs for versatile display options.
The prices are competitively set at £369 for the CU34G4Z and £199 for the 25G4SXU, showcasing AOC’s commitment to making high-performance gaming monitors available to a broader audience.
Both models are set to be available for purchase starting this month, making them timely options for gamers seeking quality on a budget.
