AOC Expands Its Monitor Portfolio with a New Dual-Mode 31.5″UHD/FHD Monitor and a 320Hz QHD Gaming Display
AOC, a prominent name in the monitor market, is making waves with its latest entries in the Gaming series. The new monitors are designed to maximize performance while remaining budget-friendly. Unlike many manufacturers, AOC is known for regularly releasing innovative products that offer impressive capabilities without the hefty price tag often seen in premium models.
Among AOC’s newest arrivals are the U32G4U and Q27G4SRU. Although they vary in resolution, both monitors share essential features, including a responsive Fast IPS panel with a swift 1ms GtG response time. The U32G4U model shines with its dual-mode functionality, allowing for immersive UHD visuals at 160Hz or high-paced FHD graphics at 320Hz. This versatility is ideal for gamers looking for detailed imagery in single-player modes or a competitive edge in fast-action gameplay.

This monitor features a generous 31.5″display and boasts a wide color gamut that delivers vivid imagery. HDR400 support further enhances visual quality, making it a great option for both gaming and multimedia. Connectivity is modern, with Dual HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports, along with a convenient USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub featuring four USB ports for easy attachment of peripherals. Moreover, the U32G4U supports both G-Sync and FreeSync Premium technologies to provide a seamless, tear-free gaming experience.

In contrast, the Q27G4SRU is tailored for gamers seeking a focused resolution experience. This 27-inch display, with its 1440p resolution and blistering 320Hz refresh rate, ensures ultra-smooth gameplay. While features mirror those of the U32G4U, AOC has provided specific color space coverages for the Q27G4SRU, indicating 93.7% DCI-P3 and 136.9% sRGB. Although it is expected that the dual-mode U32G4U offers comparable color performance, official confirmation is pending.
These monitors represent two clear paths for different gaming needs,
The Q27G4SRU gives competitive players the QHD clarity they want with a 320 Hz speed at a great price point. The U32G4U takes our Dual Frame concept to 32 inches, where the technology really excels – offering both the immersive UHD experience for single-player games and the competitive FHD performance when you need maximum speed.
