The direction of the first live-action film was helmed by Shigeaki Kubo, with Tsutomu Kuroiwa responsible for the screenplay. The score was composed by Yutaka Yamada, and Daisuke Souma took charge of the cinematography.
In addition to the cinematic endeavors, Golden Kamuy was also adapted into a live-action television series. Titled “Golden Kamuy: The Battle for the Hokkaido Tattooed Prisoners Arc,”this series spanned nine episodes, premiering on Wowow on October 6, 2024.

The anime adaptation of this beloved series was announced in 2017, and it debuted in April 2018 with a 12-episode run, concluding on June 25 of the same year. The credentials of the first season led to the greenlighting of a second season.
The second season premiered in October 2018 and wrapped up in December of the same year, also consisting of 12 engaging episodes. The third season followed in 2020 with a similar episode count.
In a significant production shift, the fourth season launched in October 2022 with Brian’s Base taking over animation duties from Geno Studio. A fifth and final season has been confirmed, poised to adapt the concluding arc of the manga.
