Angelina Pivarnick has pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge stemming from a domestic violence incident that occurred in June at her home with fiancé Vinny Tortorella in New Jersey.
The Jersey Shore star made an appearance at the Freehold Township Municipal Court on Tuesday, October 1, according to Asbury Park Press. This plea comes months after the incident. Pivarnick is expected to receive a conditional dismissal for the disorderly conduct charge, provided she meets the probationary requirements.
If Angelina Pivarnick fulfills her probation requirements over the next year, the judge has indicated that her guilty plea will be expunged from her record. Additionally, the prosecutor has reportedly filed a motion to dismiss her four other charges.
The MTV reality star initially faced a municipal summons in June, which included charges of criminal mischief, simple assault, obstructing law enforcement, and resisting arrest.
On Tuesday, her attorney, James Leonard Jr., spoke about the judge’s ruling in a statement to Page Six. He stated:
“All of Angelina’s criminal charges were dismissed. She admitted responsibility for a non-criminal offense… We are very happy with the outcome.”
In June, Pivarnick’s attorney described the event as a “very minor incident,”referring to the domestic violence altercation, and noted that it was “exacerbated by an adverse reaction to prescribed over-the-counter medication.”He expressed hopes for a favorable resolution.
