A notification about the anticipated release of Android 15 today appeared on a German Pixel community forum. Although Google hastily deleted the post, several users managed to take screenshots, and some even received emails that were subsequently shared on Reddit.

The email, shown in the image, allegedly informed users that the Android 15 update would soon be available for all Pixel devices currently running on Android 14. Although the original was in German, this is a translated version.

We began to test for the Android 15 update across our Pixel devices and successfully received it on our Pixel 6a, indicating that Google might be rolling it out gradually. Regardless, all compatible Pixel devices are expected to receive the update shortly.

Nonetheless, an X user by the name of @singhalritik111 revealed that they received the Android 15 update on their Motorola device alongside the October security patch on October 15, 2024, specifically on the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

While similar updates for other devices might not occur at the same time, flagship models such as those in the Samsung Galaxy S24 and OnePlus 12 series are likely to get the update before others. Other devices may not see the update until much later, possibly in 2025.
