Projected Shipments and Revenue Predictions for the iPhone SE 4

Ming-Chi Kuo from TF International Securities has outlined expectations for the iPhone SE 4, predicting that shipments will reach approximately 22 million units by 2025. Specifically, Kuo forecasts that the iPhone SE 4 could achieve 12 million units shipped in the first half and another 10 million in the latter half of the year. This data suggests that this latest model will outperform its predecessors, benefitting from a refreshed design and advanced hardware that enables on-device generative AI capabilities.

Market analysts estimate that with a starting price of $499 for the base model, the iPhone SE 4 could indeed realize $11 billion in revenue. Moreover, this device will be Apple’s first to utilize its proprietary 5G modem, a significant leap in technology that reduces reliance on Qualcomm. However, Kuo points out potential hurdles, indicating that this custom modem may attract patent litigation from Qualcomm.
