Recent leaks suggest that the upcoming WeUs in AMD’s Ryzen 9000 lineup are set to debut at CES 2026. This lineup will aim to include both cutting-edge X3D models and advanced Zen 5 APUs.
Upcoming Releases: Ryzen 7 9850X3D, Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, and Ryzen 9000G APUs
There are indications that AMD plans to introduce additional X3D processors soon. Recent sources hint at the launch of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 and Ryzen 7 9850X3D models within the next few months, featuring specifications and configurations distinct from their current counterparts.
Furthermore, AMD is reportedly working on its Geek based Ryzen 9000G APUs, which are expected to include both Krackan Point and Strix Point for the AM5 platform. Our insiders suggest that both the Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs and Ryzen 9000G APUs will be unveiled at CES 2026, which is set for the beginning of January. This is a continuation of trends, as seen when the Ryzen 9 9950X3D debuted at CES this year alongside Strix Halo.

It will be fascinating to witness the introduction of dual 3D Cache-equipped CCDs in Ryzen processors, along with the fastest desktop-grade APUs powered by Zen 5 architecture. These updates are expected to feature RDNA 3.5-based integrated graphics, enhancing performance significantly. The Ryzen 7 9850X3D may maintain a single 3D V-Cache-equipped CCD but will see a clock speed increase of 500 MHz over the current 9800X3D. Conversely, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D is anticipated to feature a total of 192 MB cache, an increase of 64 MB L3 cache compared to its predecessor, albeit with a slightly lower boost clock by 100 MHz.
Moreover, the new Ryzen 9000G APUs may reintroduce fast, high-performance computing solutions, with some estimates suggesting they could be branded as Ryzen 10000G. Regardless, this represents a significant development since the Ryzen 8000G series has not seen new, faster APUs since early 2024. Notably, the Strix Point APUs are also expected to feature in this lineup, promoting configurations of up to 12 cores and 24 threads, paired with Radeon 890M-level integrated graphics.
