The Ryzen 5 7400F, while lacking integrated graphics, boasts superior performance with a significantly higher boost clock speed compared to its Ryzen 5 7400 counterpart. Notably, the 7400F achieves a boost clock of 4.7 GHz, in contrast to the 4.3 GHz available in the 7400 model. Additionally, the base clock of the 7400F is 400 MHz faster, highlighting a remarkable performance gap.

  1. Ryzen 5 7400F: 6 cores / 12 threads, Base clock: 3.7 GHz, Boost clock: 4.7 GHz, L3 Cache: 32 MB, TDP: 65W, No Integrated Graphics (IGPU)
  2. Ryzen 5 7400: 6 cores / 12 threads, Base clock: 3.3 GHz, Boost clock: 4.3 GHz, L3 Cache: 16 MB (lower than F), TDP: 65W

Overall, the Ryzen 5 7400F emerges as a more formidable CPU, not only due to its superior clock speeds but also because of its larger L3 cache of 32 MB. In contrast, the Ryzen 5 7400 offers only 16 MB of cache, giving a distinct advantage to the 7400F in gaming and productivity tasks. However, the integrated graphics feature of the Ryzen 7400 remains a convenient option for users who may not require a dedicated GPU.
