AMD continues to broaden its Ryzen 9000 lineup with the discreet rollout of new models. The latest in this series is the Ryzen 5 9500F, a budget-friendly Zen 5 processor void of integrated graphics. Recent benchmarks indicate that this CPU performs comparably to the Ryzen 5 9600, which previously saw an official launch alongside the introduction of the Ryzen 7 9700F—an unannounced chip confirmed by ASUS with an 8-core, 16-thread layout.

Analyzed by @Benchleaks, the Ryzen 5 9500F was evaluated on Geekbench 6, revealing key specifications. The CPU retains the common configuration of six cores and twelve threads across the Ryzen 5 family, paired with a substantial 32 MB of L3 cache, consistent with the Ryzen 5 9600 and its predecessor, the Ryzen 5 7500F.
In terms of clock speeds, the Ryzen 5 9500F delivers a base clock of 3.8 GHz and a boost clock reaching up to 5.0 GHz. While the Ryzen 5 9600 operates at a slightly higher boost clock of 200 MHz, the primary distinction lies in the absence of integrated graphics in the 9500F variant.
