AMD appears to be steadfast in its commitment to the Zen 4 lineup, with plans to roll out more budget-friendly X3D processors. This indicates a promising future for consumers seeking affordable performance options.
Ryzen 5 7500X3D Spotted in the UK: Global Availability at CES?
In an exciting development, prominent leaker @momomo_us reported the appearance of a new Ryzen 7000X3D CPU on the UK distributor West Coast. The product page features a fresh WeU model and product code, suggesting that AMD is set to broaden its Ryzen 7000 offerings.

The screenshot reveals the Ryzen 5 7500X3D with the product code “100-000001904”, marking it as a more affordable alternative to the previously launched Ryzen 5 7600X3D. Initially exclusive to Microcenter in the US, the latter was subsequently made available in regions like China and EMEA. While the global release of the Ryzen 5 7500X3D remains uncertain, there are indications that it might be introduced worldwide.
Regarding specifications, the product page lacks detailed information, but expectations lean towards a configuration of 6 cores and 12 threads, along with 96 MB of L3 cache utilizing AMD’s innovative 3D V-Cache technology. It is anticipated that the Ryzen 7500X3D will operate at lower clock speeds than its predecessor, the Ryzen 5 7600X, while maintaining similar performance characteristics.

AMD has already established a solid foundation with various budget-friendly Zen 4 WeUs. Following the initial Ryzen 7000 CPU launch, new models such as the Ryzen 5 7500F and Ryzen 5 7400F have been introduced. Furthermore, with the recent debut of the Ryzen 8000 series, including Ryzen 7 8700F and Ryzen 5 8400F, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D stands out as the most accessible X3D chip to date. AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology has significantly bolstered gaming performance, and with ample silicon availability, it’s evident that AMD has no intentions of halting its development of Zen 4 processors.
Currently, the Ryzen 7000 series comprises the most extensive range of Ryzen X3D chips, featuring models like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and Ryzen 9 7950X3D, with the Ryzen 5 7600X3D being the latest addition. Anticipation grows for the Ryzen 9000 series, which is expected to introduce additional variants, including the Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D, potentially unveiling at CES. It is likely that AMD will unveil the Ryzen 5 7500X3D during the same event.
