AMD Adrenalin 25.10.2 Driver Now Supports Battlefield 6, Ryzen AI 5 330 APU, Plus Multiple Fixes

The latest AMD Adrenalin 25.10.2 Driver has launched, providing enhanced support for newly released games like Battlefield 6 and the recently introduced Ryzen AI 5 330 hardware.

Ten days into October, AMD rolls out its second major driver update for the month, the Adrenalin 25.10.2. This latest version focuses on optimizing performance for top-tier games, including Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and the popular Battlefield 6. While previous support for Battlefield 6 was included in the earlier 25.10.1 BETA release, this driver promises a more polished and stable gaming experience.

Important Information:
- When reverting to a previous version of AMD Software, it’s advised to employ the AMD Cleanup Utility.
- USB-C power charging has been disabled for Radeon RX 7900 series products; users needing this feature should revert to version 25.3.1.
- Through a customizable magic string in the SBIOS, the driver can dictate which codec should be disabled, involving HEVC, H264, VP9, and AV1 on Radeon RX 7000 and 9000 series products.
- Both new game and expanded Vulkan extension support are applicable for Radeon RX 7000 and 9000 series products.
Fixed Issues:
- Intermittent crashes while playing The Last of Us Part II on Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards.
- Similar crashes may occur while playing FBC: Firebreak on select AMD Ryzen processors like the Ryzen AI 300 and 8000 series.
- Players of GTFO on Radeon RX 7000 series may encounter corruption issues.
- Some users might experience stuttering during VR gameplay at 80Hz or 90Hz on specific AMD Radeon graphics products; adjusting the refresh rate may temporarily alleviate these issues.
- Ongoing crashes in NBA 2K25 MyCareer mode for Radeon RX 9070 series users, with a fix in the works.
- Texture flickering or corruption issues in Serious Sam 4 on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products.
- Shadow corruptions in VTOL VR on Radeon RX 7000 and 9000 series graphics cards.

Known Issues with the Update

Players might notice intermittent application crashes or driver timeouts during saved game loads in Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing enabled. AMD is actively seeking a solution with the game developer.
Crashes have also been reported while playing Battlefield 6 on the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor.
Switching tasks while using Roblox Player (Car Zone Racing & Drifting) on Radeon RX 7000 series may lead to intermittent crashes.
Texture flickering is being observed during gameplay in Battlefield 6 when using AMD Record and Stream on some AMD Graphics Products.
The Radeon Anti-Lag 2 feature may be unavailable in Counter-Strike 2 (DX11) for some AMD Graphics Products like the Radeon RX 9070 XT; users are encouraged to use Vulkan API as a temporary measure.
