The series Creature Commandos underscores that whether with Task Force X or Task Force M, Waller’s missions often conclude with a familiar pattern, suggesting she may be trapped in a cycle of her own making.

Since her debut in 2016’s Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller has frequently found herself in situations where she must tackle challenges she played a role in creating. As seen in previous films, her strike teams often end up causing unintended harm even as they work towards positive outcomes. For instance, in her inaugural mission, Waller lost control of the Enchantress, leading to chaos in Midway City, forcing Task Force X to intervene primarily to rescue her.

Ultimately, Waller’s orders lead to a tragic outcome, with members of Task Force M suffering grave injuries before realizing the true extent of the threat. Despite saving the world, the chaos and losses caused by Waller’s misguided decisions reinforce the cycle of damage her teams perpetuate.

Given this pattern, it’s improbable that any of Waller’s Task Forces will achieve a straightforward victory, as liability seems to consistently circle back to her.
