More About SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan
Jeonghan was scouted by Pledis Entertainment and joined the agency after successfully passing auditions in 2013, training for two years. He became well-known through the online reality show Seventeen TV, where Pledis introduced its trainees as potential members of the upcoming group.
Jeonghan debuted as a member of SEVENTEEN with the extended play 17 Carat on May 26, 2015. He released a solo digital track titled “Dream,”available in both Korean and Japanese versions, on September 16, 2021. The song was composed, written, and produced by Jeonghan himself along with SEVENTEEN collaborator Prismfilter. Additionally, he recorded a version of the Japanese musical Mosawo‘s “Aitai”as part of the #17Studio series.
Together with his bandmate Wonwoo, Jeonghan debuted as a new sub-unit called Jeonghan X Wonwoo (JxW), releasing their first single “This Man”in June 2024. He was also announced as the new ambassador for Acqua di Parma on June 3, 2024, and the eyewear brand Speculum on August 10, 2024.
In recent developments, Jeonghan collaborated with Japanese actor Kento Yamazaki on the Nippon TV travel show Yamazaki Kento x Jeonghan’s Miracle in Korea, which can be streamed on Hulu Japan.
