“Always follow it” – Nong-O says he’ll be sticking to his coaches’ tactics against Kulabdam at ONE Friday Fights 58
Nong-O Hama has stated that a game plan has been devised for his upcoming match against fellow Thai boxer Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai later this week. He is determined to follow this plan in his pursuit of breaking his losing streak and securing a win.
The “Left Meteorite”and the former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion will face off in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on April 5 as part of ONE Friday Fights 58.
At a critical point in his career, the 37-year-old Thai fighter is determined to break his two-fight losing streak and regain his position in discussions for world titles.
Nong-O plans to stick to his team’s carefully crafted game plan in order to achieve his mission. In an interview with Sportsmanor, he expressed his intention to follow the plan and adapt accordingly.
“My ability to stick to a game plan is something I have been actively working on. It doesn’t come easy. So I always plan and stick to it. And I always have to work on it repeatedly, talk to my team, keep that in mind, and always follow it.”

Despite his efforts to redeem himself from his previous defeat, Nong-O suffered two consecutive losses by knockout in his last two fights. The first was against Jonathan Haggerty in April of last year, resulting in him losing the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title. In December, he faced another defeat at the hands of Scottish striker Nico Carrillo.
Kulabdam, 25, is on a winning streak, having won four consecutive fights leading up to ONE Friday Fights 58. He is determined to continue Nong-O’s losing streak, having secured all three of his last victories in the first round by way of knockout.

Nong-O issues a warning to Kulabdam ahead of their upcoming bout
Despite suffering devastating losses in his last two fights, Nong-O Hama maintains his confidence and asserts that he is still a formidable opponent. He plans to make sure that his upcoming adversary, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, understands this when they face off at ONE Friday Fights 58 in Thailand on April 5.
In an interview with ONE Championship, he stated:
“I give Kulabdam 10 out of 10. This man in in top form right now. But he shouldn’t dare think that he’s going to be me easily.”
Prior to his consecutive losses, Nong-O had a streak of 10 straight victories, with five of those wins coming by knockout.
