Alleged iPhone SE 4 Case Leak Uncovers iPhone 7 Plus-Inspired Camera Design
Apple is anticipated to unveil the iPhone SE 4 model next year, refreshing its SE lineup significantly. This upcoming device is rumored to adopt a new design that departs from the older iPhone SE 3 aesthetics. Speculation suggests that the iPhone SE 4 will utilize a modified chassis reminiscent of the iPhone 14, although early reports had indicated that it would draw inspiration from the iPhone 16.
A recent leak has surfaced online, providing insights into the camera configuration anticipated for the rumored iPhone SE 4. An image of a case shared by tipster Sonny Dickson suggests that its camera setup may echo the design seen in the iPhone 7 Plus.
This indicates that while the iPhone SE 4 might share design elements with the iPhone 14, it will likely not inherit the same camera features, as it is expected to lack an ultrawide lens. Instead, a 48MP primary camera similar to that found in the iPhone 15 is on the horizon.

The leak also implies a dual-camera arrangement, likely positioned horizontally, based on the cutout details of the case. Furthermore, earlier reports indicated that the iPhone SE 4 might phase out Touch ID in favor of Face ID, incorporating Apple’s characteristic “bathtub notch.”
Additionally, it is speculated that the iPhone SE 4 will boast a 6.1-inch OLED display, with its frame constructed from 7000 aluminum alloy and glass on both the front and back. To maintain affordability, Apple could leverage older components similar to those found in the iPhone 13 and 14 models. Interestingly, the iPhone SE 4 is believed to be more powerful than the standard iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, as it will offer support for Apple Intelligence capabilities.
While the iPhone SE 4 may not include the new Action button, it is expected to retain the classic mute switch, clearly visible from the leaked imagery. Pricing is estimated to be under $500, positioning it as one of the most appealing mid-range smartphones on the market.
