“Alleged Bromance with His Boyfriend” – Choke No Joke Critiques Jay-Z for Lack of Public Support for Diddy

Choke No Joke, a prominent videographer, producer, and director, recently criticized Jay-Z for his lack of support for Diddy amid the entertainer’s ongoing legal troubles. During an interview with HYPE+ on October 8, he was questioned about whether he thought Jay-Z had betrayed Sean Combs.

In his response, Choke No Joke posed a thought-provoking question: “Is he [Jay-Z] supporting him [Diddy] right now?” He pointed out that while the founder of Bad Boy Records faced court proceedings, he was only accompanied by his sons, and there was an absence of support from others in the industry, including the Roc Nation leader. Though he noted that Combs’ alleged crimes might not justify support, he insisted that even those in the wrong deserve a chance at redemption.

“Do you see him defending his reputation? Have you heard him say anything? Back in the day, they were very close. There are numerous videos of their camaraderie. They had a unique bond. So, where is the brotherly support now?” Choke No Joke remarked.

He emphasized that he wasn’t concerned about the allegations against Diddy; however, Jay-Z should have stepped up for him, just as individuals from their neighborhood would rally around someone facing legal dilemmas. Choke No Joke added that if Diddy was indeed struggling with issues related to addiction, the need for assistance was even greater.

Insights from Choke No Joke on Jay-Z and Diddy’s Current Situation

In his recent dialogue with HYPE+, Choke No Joke discussed Diddy’s recent arrest and federal indictment, expressing disappointment over the music industry’s apparent abandonment, particularly by Jay-Z—the man he described as sharing a close bond with the now-embattled Diddy.

“Jay was right there at the Grammys during that speech with him. Now that he’s in trouble, where is everyone? We can’t erase those images of Jay by Diddy’s side during their peak,” the documentarian asserted.

Choke No Joke further elaborated, stating that while he believed Jay-Z did not conspire against Diddy, it seemed he might be providing information on him and was “not entirely trustworthy.”

“I think Jay-Z is a 137 Source,” he claimed, explaining that this term refers to someone who secretly works for the federal government and won’t even disclose their affiliation to other agents or judges involved in various cases.

Moreover, he criticized other celebrities who frequented parties with Diddy until the previous year, highlighting how they all showed support when Diddy was experiencing success, only to vanish when he needed them the most.

During his conversation with HYPE+, Choke No Joke was also asked about an Instagram post he made on October 5 that included a monochrome image of the hip-hop duo, captioned with “Now we know! Who’s the last man standing!”

“Four years ago, I shared this picture, predicting that one of these guys would be the Last Man Standing! To be the last man standing, one must outsmart the other. Now we know who that is!” he stated in his post.

Choke No Joke expressed that he had suspected the photo possessed a deeper significance, realizing its implications in light of current events.

“Is Jay standing by his man? No! Keep your eyes open as this photo conveys an even deeper message. Diddy and Jay have their share of dirt! As for Diddy, my sympathy has run out. I’ve heard too much and believe much of it,”he concluded.

In the same interview, Choke No Joke suggested that, akin to Jay-Z, Diddy had once shared a close friendship with Jamie Foxx, which he claimed soured over time.

He went on to allege that Sean Combs was connected to Jamie Foxx’s health crisis in 2023 and stated that a Marvel actor reported him to the FBI, which Foxx supposedly revealed during his upcoming Netflix special, What Had Happened Was.
