“All the Italian-American community will watch” – Jonathan Di Bella wants to represent the East Coast in ONE’s Atlanta card

As the current and undisputed ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion, Jonathan Di Bella of Canada and Italy is confident that his upcoming fight at ONE Championship’s Atlanta show later this year will draw a large crowd. He believes that the East Coast’s significant Italian-American community will also be in attendance to support him.

Although Jonathan Di Bella was raised in Quebec, Canada, his Italian roots hold a special place in his heart. He dedicates most of his training time to his father, who resides in Brooklyn, New York.

According to Di Bella, ONE Championship plans to return to the U.S. this year with events scheduled in Denver and Atlanta for September and November, respectively.

In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, Di Bella stated his desire to compete in the United States and is confident he can attract a large audience.

The Montreal native, who is 27 years old, stated:

“Hopefully, I can be on one of those [U.S. shows]. Atlanta is probably gonna be in November, and hopefully I’m on that one because it’s on the East Coast, and I’m on the East Coast. A lot of people from New York, from Florida, and Montreal will come. All the Italian-American community will watch for sure.”

Di Bella remains one of the most highly skilled and formidable champions on the ONE roster, and this weekend he will have the opportunity to reaffirm his dominance as he defends his title for the second time.
