SpotemGottem is making headlines after his mugshot went viral across various platforms. The rapper has faced multiple legal issues over the years, and in June of last year, he was arrested when police discovered a Glock 23 and 19 rounds of ammunition in his vehicle, according to Complex.

While information about SpotemGottem’s current location remains undisclosed, he shared his mugshot on Instagram on Thursday, September 27. The post’s caption read:

SpotemGottem’s Arrest Footage Released Earlier This Year

The rapper was apprehended in Miami on July 19, 2023. XXL Magazine reported that he faced multiple charges, including firearm possession by a convicted felon, burglary, eluding law enforcement, and aggravated assault.

The arrest report indicated that SpotemGottem’s vehicle had tinted windows, and he attempted to flee as police approached. However, he failed to escape after crashing into another vehicle.

After being apprehended, the police discovered a Glock 23 in his car, along with an extended. 40-caliber magazine, 19 rounds of ammunition, and one loose. 40-caliber round. SpotemGottem was taken into custody for possessing the weapons without a permit while also having a suspended license at that time.

Significantly, footage of the arrest, obtained in March 2024, showed SpotemGottem hiding in a shed before being captured, as reported by HipHopDX. The video revealed that the police ordered him to surrender, and he emerged from hiding on his hands and knees. His gold chains were then confiscated by the police.

Previously, SpotemGottem was arrested in 2021 on similar charges after U.S. Marshals found him with an AK-47 in a hotel. This arrest stemmed from a warrant issued in June of that year, stemming from an incident where a vehicle crashed into the gate of a parking garage on 10th Street and Collins Avenue.
