“All Died on the 25th”: J. Cole’s ‘She Knows’ Lyrics Ignite Internet Reactions Linking Aaliyah, Lisa Lopes, and Michael Jackson

The acclaimed 2013 track “She Knows”by J. Cole has recently taken social media by storm, largely due to a viral TikTok conspiracy theory concerning the tragic deaths of beloved artists Lisa Lopes, Aaliyah, and Michael Jackson.

In the past couple of days, speculation has fueled discussion across various social media platforms, with claims suggesting that Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Diddy may be linked to the untimely deaths of the aforementioned musicians.

Disclaimer: This article is intended solely to explain the viral theory and does not represent any personal views or opinions of the author.

The theory proposes a connection between Beyoncé and J. Cole’s “She Knows,”with allegations that the rapper referenced the “Single Ladies”performer in the song title. Proponents of this theory assert that Beyoncé had prior knowledge of a supposed scheme orchestrated by Diddy and Jay-Z, which they allege resulted in the fatalities of Aaliyah, Lisa “Left Eye”Lopes, and Michael Jackson.

Adding to the eerie aspect of this theory, some Internet users have noted the odd coincidence that all three artists passed away on the 25th of various months. J. Cole’s lyrics in “She Knows”mention each of these stars:

“Only bad thing ’bout a star is they burn up/ Rest in peace to Aaliyah/ Rest in peace to Left Eye/ Michael Jackson, I’ll see ya/ Just as soon as I die.”

Aaliyah tragically left us in a plane crash on August 25, 2001, while Lisa “Left Eye”Lopes died in a vehicular accident on April 25 the following year. Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, due to cardiac arrest linked to a potentially lethal mix of multiple drugs.

Nonetheless, the now-popular TikTok narrative alleges that Diddy, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé were each somehow implicated in the deaths of all three artists.

A user on X, @G3MINI13, appeared to lampoon the conspiracy. Another user quoted the original post to highlight the shared date of their deaths:

“wdym AALIYAH, LEFT EYE and MJ all died on the 25th of the month and they were all mentioned on J.Cole’s song SHE KNOWS”

Reactions to this conspiracy theory keep coming in.

“Started the crack epidemic in the black community,”wrote one person.

“All I’m hearing is that Kill Bill is based on Beyoncé’s real life,”joked another.

“She busy. No wonder she be taking so long with these albums,”reported one X user.

Some users were perplexed by the origin of this theory and questioned its validity.

“Like how is she even involved like how does one come up with that conclusion?? Because of her success??? Really??”wrote one.

“These people need hobbies, jobs even,”commented another participant.

“Her power!!! APPARENTLY SHE ALSO STARTED WWII,”quipped a third user.

Viral Theory Links J. Cole’s “She Knows”to the Deaths of Aaliyah, Lisa Lopes, and Michael Jackson

In addition to drawing connections between the dates of Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, and Lisa Lopes’s deaths, the viral TikTok theory has sought to establish links between the birthdates of Diddy, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé.

An X user @YSLONIKA showcased a video detailing this theory on September 28, using J. Cole’s “She Knows”as the background track while referencing a party thrown by Diddy on July 4, 2000.

The video also highlighted the birthdates of Diddy (November 4, 1969), Beyoncé (September 4, 1981), and Jay-Z (December 4, 1969). The video subsequently mentioned Jay-Z’s 13th studio album “4:44.”

However, claims linking Sean “Diddy”Combs, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé to the deaths of Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, and Lisa Lopes remain unsupported by credible evidence.

As speculation regarding Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s purported involvement in various alleged illicit activities within the music industry gains traction online, J. Cole’s “She Knows,”released a decade ago, finds itself under renewed scrutiny.

In light of Diddy’s recent federal arrest in mid-September, many artists connected to him have faced similar speculative inquiries on social media.
