Understanding the Computer Password in Alan Wake 2: The Lake House Control Center

To begin, players will discover the Security Clearance 02 card near a deceased scientist within the Control Center area. The aim here is to unlock the nearby computer, but the key to solving the puzzle lies in an unlocked office equipped with another computer loaded with a series of emails that can provide valuable hints.

One of the emails, titled “Today’s Password,” discloses that the password consists of an anniversary date and the last digit assigned to the artwork known as Brown Shape With Horns. You can determine the anniversary date by checking the calendar mounted on the wall opposite the email-equipped computer, while the artwork number is detailed in a notebook positioned next to the locked computer.

A note resting on the table beside the email computer indicates that the anniversary is “a week from this Friday.” Given that Friday falls on September 15, the following Friday would be September 22. Thus, the initial portion of the password translates to “22-09,”where “22”signifies the date and “09”represents the month of September. The notebook pertaining to the artwork shows that the Brown Shape With Horns concludes with the number “25.”
