Wasp’s Performance, Clues, and Judges’ Guesses from Episode 5 of The Masked Singer Season 12

During Barbie Night on The Masked Singer, Wasp showcased his skills with a heartfelt rendition of “Skyscraper,”the popular track by Demi Lovato. In his voiceover for episode 5, Wasp shared a poignant message, implying that while Barbie might have her dream home, it took him a while to find his own.

He elaborated on his struggles, mentioning that he grew up in a bustling environment surrounded by family members, all ambitious in their pursuits. Despite the “so much noise”and love present in his household, he felt the absence of his father. Wasp expressed his journey:

“Without my father’s guidance, I often felt lost. As I set out into the world as a young wasp with grand aspirations, I had to learn to be self-sufficient. When I eventually achieved my dreams, I returned home, only to find my entire family there, including an unexpected yet welcoming presence—my dad.”

During their conversation, he received heartfelt praise from his father, instilling within him a sense of boundless potential. Wasp reflected on the interplay of good and bad memories in his life, referring to it as a “dream house,”a representation of nurturing his aspirations.

The panelists had varying guesses for Wasp’s true identity, with Rita Ora suggesting he might be Miguel, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg leaning toward Frank Ocean, and Ken Jeong speculating he could be Daveed Diggs. Only time will reveal if Wasp truly is Mario or if the panelists’ guesses have any merit.
