Before diving into Agatha All Along season 1 episode 4, here’s a brief recap of the storyline thus far. Agatha Harkness, along with her new coven, has left Westview through a conjured door and has embarked on the Witches Road.

They anticipate numerous challenges ahead. In episode 3, the witches face their first trial, which involves a seemingly quiet beach house that conceals a trial within. Upon entering, the coven finds themselves locked inside, required to follow a specific set of instructions.

During their ordeal, they discover that the Teen has a Sigil spell cast upon him, preventing him from revealing anything about himself. Additionally, Jen warns him against trusting Agatha, who is rumored to have sacrificed her son for the Darkhold.

As part of their assigned instructions, the witches consume a bottle of wine only to realize that it contains poison. Jen, the group’s resident potioneer, takes it upon herself to create an antidote, leading a frantic search for the necessary ingredients. In the midst of this, the witches who drank the poisoned wine start experiencing terrifying hallucinations.

Ultimately, they manage to concoct the antidote, but in their rush, they nearly overlook Sharon, a non-member who consumed the wine first. She receives her antidote last. As they escape through a portal in the oven, they realize too late that Sharon has succumbed to the poison, as the antidote wasn’t administered in time. Thus, the episode wraps up on a tragic note.

Audiences can stream Agatha All Along season 1 episode 4 on Disney+ starting October 2, 2024.
