Exciting Announcement: New Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster Acrylic Stands
In an exciting development for fans of the classic RPG series, Konami has revealed a captivating collection of acrylic stands inspired by the characters of Suikoden 1 and 2. These stands will showcase memorable scenes from the beloved games and are set to launch as prizes in Japan beginning March 6, 2025.
Highlights of Volume 1
Volume 1 of the Suikoden acrylic stand series will introduce iconic characters, including:
- Tir McDohl (the protagonist)
- Guild
- Odessa
- Ted
Each stand features art from the original 1995 game by renowned artist Junko Kawano, complemented by a text box displaying memorable quotes and scenes associated with each character. Notably, the portraits in these text boxes will showcase newly updated artwork also created by Kawano for the HD remaster.
Future Releases and Game Launch
While Konami has not yet detailed Volume 2 of the acrylic stand collection, it is widely anticipated that characters from Suikoden 2 will be featured in subsequent volumes, especially considering the forthcoming remaster’s emphasis on the first game.
The much-anticipated Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is scheduled for release on key gaming platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, also on March 6, 2025.
