Acer Validates Specs for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 GPUs
In a recent development, ZOTAC inadvertently leaked pertinent details about the upcoming RTX 50 series GPUs, prompting ACER to validate some of these revelations. Although we are still awaiting a complete specifications list, this confirmation provides clarity on the memory configuration of these highly anticipated graphics cards.
Sources indicate that ACER is set to launch new models of the Orion Predator gaming desktops, featuring the latest Intel processors paired with the upcoming RTX 50 series GPUs. While this information has not been made official yet, it briefly appeared on the ACER Germany website before being retracted. Videocardz managed to capture the details prior to their removal.

The specifications for the ACER Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktops reveal that customers can expect two distinct configurations. Both options will feature identical components such as the processor, RAM, and storage, differing only in the graphics card. One model will be built with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, while the other will utilize the RTX 5080.
The disclosed VRAM configurations indicate that the RTX 5090 will include 32 GB GDDR7 VRAM, whereas the RTX 5080 is set to come with 16 GB GDDR7. These configurations align with previous rumors, comprising the final details ahead of their launch.
Additional specifications for these desktops include the Arrow Lake Core Ultra 7 265KF processor, 32 GB of RGB DDR5 RAM with options available for upgrades to 128 GB, and dual 1TB PCI-E SSD storage paired with the Windows 11 Home operating system.

Anticipated availability for these gaming desktops is set to coincide with NVIDIA’s launch of the RTX 50 series GPUs during CES 2025, with pricing expected to start in the range of a few thousand dollars for each model.
The flagship RTX 5090 will purportedly feature an impressive 21,760 CUDA Cores and a total board power (TBP) of up to 600W. In contrast, the RTX 5080 is expected to be the second most powerful option within the series, boasting 10,752 CUDA Cores and a TBP of around 400W. These specifications remain speculative and may undergo changes before the official roll-out.
