Serious Allegations Against Kim Jung Hoon, Brother of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo
In a shocking turn of events, Kim Jung Hoon, brother of BLACKPINK’s member Jisoo, has been embroiled in serious allegations involving the unlawful recording of intimate encounters without consent. These claims have surfaced through an anonymous post on a popular Korean workplace platform, igniting widespread outrage and concern.
The Accusations Unveiled
The accuser took to the platform on May 29, alleging that Jung Hoon filmed sexual encounters using a concealed camera and subsequently displayed the footage to his friends. Furthermore, it was claimed that Jung Hoon boasted about possessing similar recordings of various women, amplifying the gravity of the accusations.
“It took me a long time to write this. Everything I’m about to share is based on my own experience, ”the post read.
In the post, the anonymous accuser detailed a disturbing encounter:
“One day, I had a sexual relationship with him at his home. I later found out that he had recorded the act using a hidden camera. I couldn’t believe it. What made it worse was learning that he had shown the video to his acquaintances and even bragged about having multiple recordings of different women.”
Jung Hoon’s Response
In light of these serious allegations, Jung Hoon, who is the CEO of the children’s health supplement company Biomom and heads the entertainment label Blissoo—home to Jisoo—has adamantly denied all claims. He has announced intentions to pursue legal action to defend his name.
“The allegations are completely false. I plan to take legal action and am currently in discussion with a law firm.”
Agency’s Statement and Public Reaction
Blissoo, Jisoo’s agency, has issued a statement indicating they are “currently checking the facts.”Although the original post was quickly taken down, its contents circulated rapidly across social media and news outlets, capturing the public’s attention.
The timing of this controversy is particularly delicate, as Jisoo is on the cusp of BLACKPINK’s much-anticipated comeback following her departure from YG Entertainment in 2023. The group is gearing up for their first album release since 2022’s Born Pink, with new music set to drop in June 2025, marking the end of a nearly three-year hiatus since they pursued individual projects.
Impact on Jisoo and Public Discussion
Supporters of Jisoo have come forward, asserting that she should not be held accountable for her brother’s alleged actions. Nevertheless, the situation has sparked vigorous debate regarding potential repercussions for Jisoo’s career, despite her non-involvement in the allegations. As of now, there have been no formal legal complaints filed against Jung Hoon.
