In the United States, users can now reach ChatGPT by dialing 1-800-CHATGPT (1-800-242-8478). This service is not just a traditional call; it utilizes Advanced Voice Mode technology, allowing for a more conversational and natural interaction akin to speaking with a human.
The motivation behind this new feature is to improve accessibility for users in areas with limited or no internet access. OpenAI cites examples such as traveling motorists who may need to retrieve information without the necessity of sharing images or videos.
