Stray Kids’ Hyunjin recently discussed his distinctive fashion showcased in the music video for “Chk Chk Boom.”On September 23, 2024, Esquire Korea published the second part of the K-pop star’s interview on its official website. This latest interview followed the release of various cover photos and videos featuring Hyunjin.
The talented rapper revealed that he designed his own outfit for the music video. He explained that he conceptualized a red cardigan paired with leather pants using his iPad and shared it with his costume designer.
“So I drew a picture on my iPad and sent it to the person in charge. I pasted my picture, and on top of it, I expressed a red cardigan, a little leather pants, a sluggy feeling, unique red sunglasses, and something like that. Fortunately, the stylists understood it well and completed it, and the timing was right, so it was done,” remarked Hyunjin.

He revealed that he has created numerous conceptual artworks and expressed his admiration for abstract art. Additionally, he shared his aspiration to “focus more”on his painting endeavors.
Hyunjin has shared various paintings on his personal Instagram account, stating:
“I’ve been studying conceptual painting, but I want to draw a lot of abstract paintings after studying more someday.”
When asked why he disabled comments on his online paintings, he explained that he prefers not to receive critiques on his artwork. Despite the positive feedback from many about his creations, Hyunjin aims to remain true to his artistic vision without being influenced by others’ opinions.
Moreover, Hyunjin expressed his enjoyment of conversation, noting that he regularly talks with and calls his bandmates. Since it can be tough to reach them late at night, he prefers to engage with fans through live broadcasts.
