Metaphor ReFantazio invites players to embark on an epic adventure across the expansive realm of the United Kingdom of Euchronia, where they will encounter various foes, allies, and dungeons. This JRPG draws similarities to other acclaimed franchises like Sega and Atlus’ Persona series.

In this game, players have the opportunity to interact with and collect gear that can be utilized during battles. However, it is important to note that some of this equipment may possess impurities.

To cleanse these impure items, players can visit any church found within the towns scattered throughout the game world. One of the first churches players can access for this purpose is the St. Fermis Church, situated in Grand Trad. Simply arriving at the church without any preparations will not enable the purification process for your equipment.

To commence the purification ritual, players must enhance the protagonist’s Wisdom Royal Virtue to at least Level 2, referred to as Informed. Additionally, players need to gather some Blessed Water, which can be acquired in various dungeons throughout the map. While Blessed Water is not particularly rare, it can take time to find, so it is advisable to use it judiciously.

After fulfilling these requirements, make your way to any church, and you will see the “Purify”option appear. The purification effects on each piece of equipment will be permanent, so choose wisely when deciding which items to enhance.

For example, the Dragon’s Indignation weapon, available early in the game, can be purified at any church. This process not only increases its attack power but also transforms all standard attacks into Fire attacks.
