In addition to equipping and utilizing these Gems, players have the opportunity to craft new Gems and upgrade the ones they already possess. While the crafting process may seem random, understanding it can significantly improve your chances of creating the ideal Gem for your needs.
Crafting and Leveling Gems in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Gem crafting is initiated using Pyroxene, which can be accessed at any Inn or tent throughout the game. When in your room, select the option labeled “Create Gems.”Here, you can utilize as much Pyroxene as you wish, crafting gems at a one-to-one ratio. A limited selection of five different Gems can be produced from each piece of Pyroxene, introducing an element of chance to the process.
The initial Gem crafted will start at level 1, allowing you to equip it through your Battle Preparations menu. Subsequently, if you create additional Gems of the same type, each will contribute experience toward leveling up the existing one, increasing its effectiveness. If you are not particularly focused on specific Gem types, feel free to use large quantities of Pyroxene to generate and upgrade multiple Gems simultaneously.
However, if you desire particular Gems, you might wish to activate the “Eyes of the Sacred Bird,” which randomly selects three Gems to restrict crafting options. You can negate this effect by exiting and re-entering the crafting menu. While it can be tedious to craft one Gem at a time, doing so may enhance your chances of producing a Gem you specifically want.
It’s important to note that while the “Eyes of the Sacred Bird”can help reduce randomness, it does not entirely eliminate it from Gem crafting.

After completing a Skirmish or Battle, more Pyroxene will reappear on the map, encouraging players to revisit previous areas, as new crystals are frequently generated.
