There are a total of six different teleportation techniques you can master in the game. Below, you’ll find instructions for each of these teleportation types.

High-Speed Evasion

To defend against a powerful strike, you can initiate High-Speed Evasion (a variant of teleportation) by pressing R1/RB or O/B, based on your controller settings.

Rush High-Speed Movement

If you wish to teleport while on the offensive, tilt the right joystick in any direction and then press R1/RB or O/B to unleash a rush attack.

Rush High-Speed Return

Immediately after your opponent performs a Rush High-Speed Movement, press R1/RB or O/B to teleport right behind them. Be mindful, as this will consume 1/5 of your Ki.

Z-Counter

Pay attention to your opponent’s movements, and when you anticipate a follow-up attack, press R1/RB or O/B. This will allow you to teleport behind your foe and execute a Smash Attack, costing 1/5 of your Ki as well.

Vanishing Assault

For close-range encounters, use Square+X/ X+A to teleport behind your adversary for a Smash attack. In mid-range, this action will perform a Rush Strike, and at long-range, it will bring you a bit closer to the opponent. This maneuver will utilize one bar from your Ki meter.

Vanishing Attack

After successfully knocking down an enemy, pressing Triangle/Y will trigger a vanishing follow-up attack, which won’t consume any Ki.

Characters equipped with Wild Sense or Afterimage Strike abilities can leverage these teleportation techniques for endless High-Speed evasions. However, it’s important to note that they are ineffective against energy beams. If you choose characters with the Instant Transmission Skill, you can teleport behind enemies regardless of the distance between you.
