To locate the Hedgepuff, teleport to the Resonance Beacon in the TD Observatory region of the Black Shores Archipelago and head northward. You will find this enemy situated near the shore, adjacent to a tall tower.

Enemy Overview

The Hedgepuff is a modified variant of the common-class enemy known as Gulpuff. Similar to its counterpart, it exhibits increased resistance to the Glacio element. While it has a limited number of attacks, the damage output of these attacks is substantial, capable of depleting your character’s HP swiftly.

The Hedgepuff can employ two main types of attacks: it can either hurl giant bubbles to ensnare you or slam its body down, causing significant damage. Mastering the timing to dodge these attacks is vital if you are to have any chance of defeating this enemy.

Team Recommendations

Given Hedgepuff’s enhanced resistance to the Glacio element, it is advisable to avoid using a Glacio Main or Sub-DPS character like Sanhua. Opt for characters with high mobility, capable of evading the enemy’s bubbles and body slams for a more effective battle. Here are some recommended team compositions:

  • Shorekeeper, Mortefi, Changli
  • Shorekeeper, Yinlin, Xiangli Yao
  • Verina, Zhezhi, Jinhsi

If you do not have access to Shorekeeper or Verina, Baizhi serves as a strong alternative. Additionally, any DPS character that does not use the Glacio element, such as Calcharo, Jiyan, and Encore, will also be effective against this enemy.

Additional Tips and Strategies

While the Hedgepuff is certainly a strong adversary, it can be defeated with the right strategies. Here are some useful tips:

  • Ensure you have a well-rounded team, featuring a main DPS character to dish out most of the damage, alongside a sub-DPS and a support character for buffs and healing.
  • Equip your Resonators, especially your main DPS, with the best weapons and Echoes available to maximize your damage potential.
  • Patience is key. Learn the Hedgepuff’s attack patterns to dodge effectively and increase your survival odds during the encounter.
  • Utilize food buffs during battle to enhance your team’s damage output.
