- Create a map and locate the flying saucer icons.
- Head towards the crashed flying saucers denoted on your map, eliminate the aliens, and gather the loot.
- At the yellow-glowing saucer, navigate through the teleporter door to access the mothership.
Upon entering the Forest after the Alien update, you will notice a holographic message indicating “backup on its way.”If you survive long enough, often as early as Night 3, another prompt will announce: “something mysterious is flying above you.”
As the flying saucers dart across the night sky, prepare yourself: at the end of the night, you will witness a red outline followed by a crash sound. Check your map for highlighted saucer icons.
Travel to these marked locations, where you will find a downed alien crafts guarded by aggressive extraterrestrial foes.
Defeat the defenders to claim valuable loot from the wreckage, including debris and advanced weaponry like the Laser Sword and Ray Gun.
Be mindful that multiple ships will crash during this event, and one will distinctly glow yellow. Within that ship, you will find a teleporter leading directly to the Alien Mothership.
Navigating Inside the Alien Mothership
Much like previous Cultist Strongholds, the Alien Mothership serves as a combat gauntlet that rewards your perseverance.
Your ability to thrive in this environment hinges largely on one pivotal weapon: the Ray Gun.
This rapid-fire weapon boasts unlimited ammunition, making it exceptionally overpowered in comparison to others in the game and invaluable for maneuvering through the Mothership’s confined spaces.
To acquire the Ray Gun, players should loot from the various crashed flying saucers scattered across their world map.
Unlocking Doors Within the Mothership
A crucial challenge players may face is unlocking the doors that impede your progression in the Mothership.
Examine the wall near the teleporter door; it displays a notice stating that door access is restricted to “Captains Only.”
To proceed, obtain the bodies of defeated “Alien Elite”foes and position them next to the door scanner. This will enable the door mechanism and grant access.
