New Crossover Content for World of Warships
Wargaming has announced the introduction of additional crossover content from Azur Lane into World of Warships. This marks the seventh collaboration between the two games, continuing a tradition that began in 2018. The most recent release prior to this was the sixth wave in 2024, demonstrating Wargaming’s commitment to integrating popular elements from Azur Lane into their naval strategy franchise.
Introducing New Commanders
Wave 7 will feature an exciting roster of shipgirls that players can recruit as commanders. The following shipgirls will be available for assignment to any player’s fleet:
- KMS Hindenburg
- USS Kearsarge
- RN Gorizia
- KMS Admiral Graf Spee
- KMS Scharnhorst
New Premium Ships on the Horizon
In an exciting development, Wargaming is also introducing new premium vessels inspired by the Azur Lane adaptations of the aforementioned shipgirls. This includes KMS Hindenburg, USS Kearsarge, and RN Gorizia, along with KMS Bismarck, a character that previously appeared in the fourth crossover wave.
Notably, Hindenburg and Kearsarge are making a comeback to the game. These double-imported characters were originally designed by Manjuu and Yongshi, based on the original ships from World of Warships. The initial double-imported character was HMS Neptune, featured in Wave 2, showcasing the unique intertwining of both game franchises.
