4) Cassandra Ventura’s civil suit regarding abuse allegations (2005 to 2018)
Ventura’s civil suit filed in November 2023 is considered a pivotal moment leading to federal charges against Combs. She alleged a prolonged cycle of abuse from 2005 to 2018, including accusations of trafficking, r*pe, and non-consensual pornography. The lawsuit was reportedly settled shortly after it was filed for an undisclosed sum.
Her allegations led to a raid on Combs’ residence in March 2024. In May 2024, CNN aired footage of P. Diddy assaulting Ventura, prompting him to publicly apologize, deeming his actions “inexcusable.”
5) The incident involving J. Cole in 2013
After rumors surfaced of a confrontation between P. Diddy and J. Cole at a 2013 VMAs afterparty, conflicting stories emerged regarding the incident. J. Cole referenced the altercation in his song “Let Go My Hand”with the lyrics:
“My last scrap was with Puff Daddy, who would’ve thought it?”

“He stomped on my stomach really hard — like, took the wind out of my breath. I couldn’t breathe. He kept hitting me. I was pleading to him, ‘Can you just stop? I can’t breathe,’”she recounted.
Huynh further alleged that Combs frequently compared her unfavorably to his ex, Cassandra Ventura, and once pressured her to undergo an abortion.
